At Coppice we want the children to love all aspects of the Art curriculum.
We want the Coppice Art curriculum to be ambitious and allow our children to become independent and resilient. We want to equip our pupils with all the statutory requirements of the Art National Curriculum and also prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences they may encounter in the next stage of their education and beyond. Art and design stimulates imagination and creativity: involving children in a range of visual, tactile and sensory experiences, which enables them to communicate what they see, think and feel through the use of the elements of colour, texture, form and pattern.
