RE
At Coppice Primary Academy, we believe it is vital for all our pupils to learn from religion and about religion so that they can understand the world around them. It is our aim to provide children with the ability to acquire knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of the religions represented within British society and beyond. We want children to be knowledgeable about, and accepting of, different cultural beliefs and practices beyond their own experience in order that they can become valuable and accommodating members of our culturally diverse society and world.
The Religious Education curriculum complies with the Sacre agreed syllabus for Religious Education, using schemes of work to support teaching. Parents have the right to withdraw their child(ren) for RE by writing to the Head of School.
