Science

At Coppice we want our children to love science and to be enthusiastic Scientists.  We want them to grow up not only with a firm knowledge of scientific concepts, skills and knowledge that will support their future learning, but with a real desire to learn more about how science has impacted on them and their lives today. 

We want the Coppice science curriculum to be ambitious and allow our children to be resilient.  We want to equip our pupils with all the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum, provide with them with the necessary scientific vocabulary to be successful scientists and also prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences they may encounter in the next stage of their scientific lives.
